Tha Genius came out in '91 on Cold Chillin' Records wit tha album 'Words From The Genius'. Tha major single from it was 'Come Do Me', a dancy-Big-Daddy-Kane-type song, even though tha rest of tha album was hardcore. Genius decided to leave Cold Chillin afta this and pursue a dream wit his cousin, RZA. Tha dream was tha Wu-Tang Clan. Genius and RZA were tha 2 of tha 3 founderz (Number 3 bein ODB).
Wit tha success of '36 Chambers', tha Wu proceeded to drop solo albums, and in '95 Genius signed to Geffen and released 'Liquid Swords'. It was a look into tha ruffer side of life complete wit songs of hard times(Cold World), street life(I Got'cha Back), and all out Wu imagery(Liquid Swords). It went gold in no time.
Though Genius is still a big factor in tha Wu-Tang, he only was featured on 3 songs on 'Wu-Tang Forever'. Tha songs 'Reunited', 'As High As Wu-Tang Get', and 'Triumph'.
His prescence is sometimes mysterious and at other times witty. He also has an intelligence that is matched by no one.
