An Angel on My Shoulder

I have an angel on my shoulder,
And I'm going to let him show.
I have an angel on my shoulder,
I refuse to let him go.

I have an angel on my shoulder,
And I think he's made of gold
He's not hidden behind the boulder,
And he's not out in the cold.

I have an angel on my shoulder,
And he's always there for me.
I have an angel on my shoulder,
Cause I can feel him nudging me.

I have an angel on my shoulder,
He is there watching as I get up.
I have an angel on my shoulder,
And he's there as I have my first cup.

I have an angel on my shoulder,
That gives me just a whisper
Sometimes it hits me like a boulder,
When I forget to hold my tongue.

And when I am feeling like a bear,
He sprinkles stardust on my lip,
Making sure he gets all of my hair.
Telling me, it's going to make me hip.

I have an angel on my shoulder,
When someone gives me a dare.
I have an angel on my shoulder
That gives me stardust to spare.

I have an angel on my shoulder
And the stardust never leaves me.
I have an angel on my shoulder,
To whisper in my ear, let it be.

I have an angel on my shoulder,
He follows me around work all day.
I have an angel on my shoulder,
And I know that he is here to stay.
