I would like to dedicate this page to my doe Sadie May. Sadie came to the farm at 6 months old. She was very timid and shy not letting anyone touch her.
After a couple of months working with her she started to come around. I kept her out of the '99 show season until October because I felt she wasn't ready for the ring. At her first show in October
she took 2nd in her class and then received Reserve Junior Champion Doe. I was so proud of her and knew she was well on her way. Tragically the following Saturday my Sadie died in my arms. She had ingested
cherry woodshavings that I didn't know were toxic to animals. Unfortunately Sadie had to pay the price for something I did not know about. She is sadly missed and I think of her every day. Thank you so
much for the wonderful year we had together and I'm so very sorry for your short life.
To everyone who reads this please remember that anything cherry,
wether it be leaves, bark, chips, or shavings this is very toxic to all animals
so make sure animals are kept away from it.
