They were soon on their way home. Justin dropped the girls off at their dorm and then left. The phone rang as they walked in.
“I’ll get it!”-Chantel
“Hello, is Macey there?”
“Yeah, hold on...Macey! It’s for you”-Chantel
“Hello?”-Macey
“Hey Macey, it’s Brian”
“Oh, hi”-Macey
“I saw you at the concert tonight”-Brian
“I saw you too”-Macey
“Nick saw you”-Brian
“I know, did he say anything to you?”-Macey
“Yeah, he wants to talk to you. Macey, he misses you a lot. He still wants your relationship to work.”-Brian
“So do I”-Macey
“He’s gonna call you, when he does just talk to him, please. He’s trying to make this work, and this is his way of trying.”-Brian
“I won’t hang up on him, listen I’ve gotta go now, so I’ll talk to ya later.”-Macey
“Ok, talk to ya later”-Brian said as he hung up the phone.

1 week later, Friday
Macey woke up around 7am because she had morning classes on Fridays.
“Thank God it’s Friday already”she said quietly to herself not wanting to wake Chantel and Callie. Then Chantel’s alarm clock went off and she got up. Then Callie woke up.
“Ahhhhhh!! What time is it!?”Callie said freaking out.
“It’s 7:15”Chantel replied.
“I’ve got a class at 8:30!”-Callie
“So do we, you have time.”-Macey
************************************************************************
At 8:15 they walked over to their classes. Macey had classes until 3:30,and Callie and Chantel’s classes didn’t get out until 5, so she walked back to the dorm by herself. Just as she unlocked her door the phone started to ring. She ran over and answered it.
“Hello?”Macey said quietly.
“Macey, is that you?” Macey could recognize that voice anywhere, it was Nick.
“Yeah, it’s me.”-Macey
“This is Nick”
“I know”-Macey
“How are you?”-Nick
“I’m ok”-Macey
There was a moment of silence.
“How are you?”-Macey
“I’m ok, I miss you.”-Nick
“I miss you too.”-Macey
They talked for over an hour and worked out their problems. They decided to start over again. Macey was going to go down to Ruskin in a week and renting an apartment there for the rest of the summer. Finals were next week and then she would be finished with her freshman year of college. She was taking 3 summer school classes so it was already the end of July. She would only be in Ruskin for a month, but it would be worth it.

A week later-
Macey was saying good-bye to her 2 best friends and watching them leave to go home to their families in Ohio for the rest of the summer. Then she got in her car and drove to Ruskin. Once she arrived there she found the perfect condo on the beach. Then she got ready, she changed into a celery slip-dress then drove to the coffee house where she and Nick had their first date. Then she sat in the coffee house’s parking lot waiting for him to show up. He arrived and gave her a gentle hug, she hugged him back.
“Macey, you have lost a lot of weight haven’t you?”-Nick(I couldnt decide if she should be anorexic or not so..)
“Yeah...let’s go in”she said trying to change the subject.
“Ok” Nick took her hand and lead her into the small coffee house.
They went and sat down in the exact same table they sat in on their first date. They were talking, but something was still missing. Their relationship wasn’t the same as it was before.
“Macey, something’s wrong. Things aren’t the same as they were before.”-Nick
“I know. I guess we aren’t the same people we were before. Could we forget this date, go home, sleep, and just pray we run into each other somewhere so we can meet again!?”Macey said sarcastically, then she started to laugh. Nick started laughing too.
“Right there, was the old Macey, the one I fell in love with, could you be like that, again?”-Nick
“I’ll try”-Macey
“Let’s forget these coffees and go watch the sunset and talk, like we did before!”-Nick
“I agree! Let’s go!!”-Macey said as she grabbed his hand, then ran out of the resaurant laughing. They ran onto the beach, both of them laughing still. Then they ran out into the water and started splashing each other. They were both soaking wet then it started to rain. They were both laughing so hard by this time that were about to fall over. Nick knew he was taking a chance, but he needed to know if they could ever be the way they used to be. He leaned over and kissed her. She kissed him back, they stood there kissing for a few minutes then they started splashing each other again. Nick and Macey knew everything would work out between them. After the rain stopped they went back to their cars, said goodnight and kissed good-bye.

4 years later....
Nick and Macey were still together and still very much in love. Chantel married a guy named Cody(they’ve been married for about a year.) Callie had been dating Justin for 3 years(after Macey finally hoooked them up) and one night Justin purposed to Callie, and of course she said yes.
Macey lived in a condo on the beach in Ruskin all year now, from time to time she would go on tours. Nick moved into a house on the beach in Ruskin because his family decided to move to L.A., even though they ended up coming back because things didn’t work out right. Macey practically lived with Nick, but she still kept a few things at her place. One night after a date Macey and Nick went back to Nick’s place.
“So Mace, what ya doin tomorrow?”-Nick
“Well during the day I have to go back to the recording studio, AGAIN, and get some work done, but that’s all.”-Macey
“Is that all?”-Nick said with a grin on his face.
“Yep, that’s all”-Macey
“Hey, do you wanna go away this weekend?”Nick said waving 2 plane tickets in her face.
“Yes, yes, yes!! Where to, where to!?”-Macey
“It’s a surprise, but pack your bags, we’re leaving tonight. I already talked to your manager about you missing work, it’s fine with her.”-Nick
“Ok, but I need to know where we are going so I know what to pack!”-Macey
“All I’m going to say is that it is warmer there then it is here, so go pack you have an hour!”-Nick
