One month later~~
School had started again for Lauren and Lisa and they were living in their dorm once again. One night Nick came to O-Town and Lauren and him went out on a double date with Lisa and Brian. They went to this nice restaurant downtown and after the waiter took their orders Nick excused himself from the table.
“Lauren, something wrong?” Brian asked Lauren who was staring off into space.
“Uh...yeah...uh...I’m ok.”-Lauren
“No you’re not.”-Lisa
“Ok, so I’m not.”-Lauren
“What’s wrong?”-Lisa
“Nick.”-Lauren
“What about Nick?”-Brian
“I don’t know...our relationship just isn’t exciting anymore. I guess I’m just comparing it to what I had with AJ.”-Lauren
“You mean romance?”-Lisa
“Yeah, I mean he’s not the most romantic, spontaneous person. I mean...I would like a surprise every now and then, but with him there are none.”-Lauren
“Let me talk with him ok? Just don’t break up with him though. Promise me that.”-Brian
“I won’t,” Lauren said as Nick came back.
“Hey baby,” Nick said as he kissed Lauren’s forehead and sat down.
“Hi,” Lauren said quietly.
“Are you ok?”-Nick
“Yeah, I’m fine.”-Lauren
“You sure, you’ve been awfully quiet tonight?”-Nick
“I’m fine, I’m just kinda tired.”-Lauren
“Oh, ok. Well after we eat do you want me to just take you back to your place?”-Nick
“Yeah.”-Lauren
After they ate Lauren and Lisa went back to their dorm and Nick and Brian went back to Brian’s place because it was too late for Nick to drive back to Tampa.

“Lauren, you aren’t going to break up with him, are you?” Lisa asked one they were back at their dorm.
“No.”-Lauren
"He’ll come around.”-Lisa
“He better. I mean AJ was so romantic and spontaneous, and then there’s Nick.”
“Brian’s gonna talk to him.”-Lisa

“Hey Nick!”-Brian
“Yeah.”-Nick
“How are things between you and Lauren?”-Brian
“Ok, I guess. She’s been kinda quiet lately though.”-Nick
“Well, have you asked her if she’s ok?”-Brian
“Not exactly.”-Nick
“Maybe you should.”
“You’ve been talking to her, or she’s been talking to you. Right?”-Nick
“Yeah, tonight at dinner.”-Brian
“What’s wrong with her? She’s not going to break up with me is she?”-Nick
“No, she’s not going to break up with you. She just said all the romance was gone.”-Brian
“No it’s not.”-Nick
“What’s the last thing you 2 did that was romantic, or when was the last time you surprised her?”-Brian
“The night she came back to Florida.”-Nick
“How long ago was that?”-Brian
“A little over a month ago.”-Nick
“Nick, do something romantic, surprise her. That is if you want the relationship to work.”
“I do.”

“Nicky pooh! Wake up,” Lauren said, her and Lisa went over to Brian’s house the following morning to get Nick and Brian up.
“Uh, get away Bri, I’m tired.”-Nick
“Nick, it’s me...Lauren...your girlfriend,” she said laughing.
“Oh sorry, I’m a little tired.”
“I can tell.”-Lauren
“Well...” Nick said as Lauren climbed into the bed and layed down next to him.
“So watcha wanna do today?”-Lauren
“Lay in bed all day.”-Nick
“Ok!” Lauren agreed.
“Good.”-Nick
“Well, let’s at least do something this afternoon, ok?”-Lauren
“Fine with me.”-Nick

“Bri baby, get up,” Lisa said trying to get Brian up.
“Do I have to?”-Brian
“Yes.”-Lisa
“Fine,” Brian said climbing oput from underneath the covers and getting out of bed.
“Finally,” Lisa said as she kissed him.
“So...what are we doing today?”-Brian
“Well, I was thinking that we could see what Lauren and Nick are doing and then join them. That is if it’s all right with you?”-Lisa
“Ok, let’s go see what they are doing,” Brian said as he took Lisa’s hand and they walked down the hall to the guestroom.
“Ahh, how cute,” Brian said as he saw Lauren, who had her head on Nick’s chest, and Nick lying in bed sleeping.
“Maybe we shouldn’t get them up, they look too cute.”-Lisa
“Well, I do need some groceries, you wanna go shopping with me and then we can get them up when we get back?”-Brian
“Sure,” Lisa said as they walked out the door. Soon Nick woke up.
“Hey baby, wanna get up yet?”-Nick
“Well, I’ll get up, but why don’t we sit here a minute and talk?”-Lauren
“What’s on your mind?”-Nick
“Everything.”-Lauren
“Even me?”-Nick
“Yeah.”-Lauren
“Why?”-nick
“I don’t know, things just aren’t the same anymore. With me in Orlando and you in Tampa it’s just different, we never see each other, and we never talk.”-Lauren
“I know. What if we make a promise to get together every other weekend. We can switch off between my place and here.”-Nick
“...and we have to call each other a couple of times a week.”-Lauren
“Ok, let’s stick to that plan then.”-Nick
“Sounds good to me, now what are we going to do today?”-Lauren
“Let’s go find Bri and Lisa and see what they’re up to.”-Nick
“Ok, let’s go find them,” Lauren said as Nick took her hand and led her into the hallway.
“B-ROK!!!” Nick shouted as they walked into the kitchen, “hmmm, I wonder where they are?”
“Here’s a note from them,” Lauren saidd picking the note up off the table and reading it.
Hey, we went to get groceries, cause when we came to get you 2 you were still sleeping, and you looked too cute so we didn’t want to get you up. We’ll be back in a little bit.

“You here that Nicky, we’re cute!”-Lauren
“Oh, I always knew that.”
“Did you?”-Lauren
“Yep,” Nick said as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug.
“Hey, we’re back,” Lisa said as she and brian walked into the kitchen.
“Hi.”-Lauren
“Hey.”-Nick
“So what are you 2 doing today, we need something to do?”-Lisa
“I think we should go to the movies.”-Brian
“Ok, me and Lisa want to see Message In a Bottle.”-Lauren
“Yep, a nice love story.”-Lisa
“Uhh!! I was thinking more along the lines of Matrix, how bout you B-Rok?”-Nick
“Well, you better pick Message In A Bottle, or you 2 will be doing some male-bonding...without us!” Lauren said as she and Lisa started laughing evily.
“Ugh! Why do you 2 always win?”-Brian
“..yeah, one day we’re going to get you into an action flick.”-Nick
“Sure you are.”-Lauren

“So Nicky pooh, how’d ya like it,” Lauren asked him after the movie was over.
“Uh...it was ok?”-Nick
“Admit it, you liked it.”-Lauren
“Well, it gave me some ideas.”-Nick
“Oh, did it.....”-Lauren
"So, Bri baby what did ya think?”-Lisa
“It was actually ok.”-Brian
“That’s what I thought.”-Lisa
“Ok, I’ll admit, you were right on this one.”-Brian
“Again, that’s what I thought.”-Lisa
