“Hey babe, ready to go to lunch?” AJ said picking her up from work the following day.
“Yep, where we going?” Lauren said grabbing her purse and walking hand in hand with AJ out of the store.
“It’s a surprise.”-AJ
“Well, what if I’m not in the mood for a surprise?” Lauren asked jokingly.
“Well, you better be.” AJ said kissing her gently, then opening the car door for her. A half hour later they were still on highway.
“Ok baby, I like surprises and all, but where are we going?”-Lauren
“You’ll see, you’ll see. We’ll be there 10 minutes,” AJ said as they pulled up the ramp to Daytona Beach. A few minutes later they were parked at a cute little cafe` on the beach.
“This is so cute!”-Lauren
“Yeah, I know. I picked it out. Now let’s go in!” AJ said jokingly
“Ok.”-Lauren
They sat down at a table and had sandwiches.
“Would you two like dessert?” the waiter asked.
“Yeah, we’re gonna split the Reece’s Pieces sundae.”-AJ
A few minutes later their dessert was out. AJ started to take a few bites.
“Hey, don’t eat all the whip cream. I want some of it.”-Lauren
“Here,” AJ said feeding her a spoonful of whip cream. Then he started to laugh.
“Hey, what’s so funny?”-Lauren
“You’ve got whip cream right there!” AJ said whiping some whip cream from above her lip. Lauren kissed his fingers then he leaned over and kissed her on the lips. She kissed him back.
“Um...AJ? I think we should go, people are starting to stare.” Lauren said laughing.
“Yeah, come on?” AJ said laying the money for the bill on the table then grabbing her waist as they walked out the door they started to kiss again and all of a sudden it started to rain.
“Come on. Let me get ya home,” AJ said while they were both laughing. About 45 minutes later they were back on campus.
“I’ll come get you on Friday around 4, ok? Oh and bring stuff to sleep in...well just pack for a day or so.” AJ said giving her a kiss.
“Ok, see ya then.”-Lauren

Around 6 o’clock Nick arrived to pick Lauren up.
“Lisa, I’m gonna go, Nick’s here. I’ll see ya later tonight. You’ll be here right?”-Lauren
“I should be back, I have a date.”-Lisa
“With who??”-Lauren
“Brian...” Lisa said quietly.
“You go!! That’s great!! Now me, you, AJ, and Brian can double date!” Lauren said jokingly.
“That’s going a little too far. It’s only a first date.”-Lisa
“Well, I’ll see ya later.”-Lauren
“Bye.”-Lisa

“Hey, how are you?” Nick said opening the door to his truck for her.
“Fine, and you?”-Lauren
“Ok.”-Nick
“So, what time is the game?”-Lauren
“At 7:30, I figured we can just get there early. It’ll give us more time to talk.”-Nick
They arrived at the O-Rena around 6:40 and found their seats right behind the Bull’s bench, Orlando was playing Chicago tonight.
“I hope we’re sitting right behind Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, and Harper,” Lauren said excitedly.(Yes, I know most of them aren’t playing for the Bulls anymore and that Jordan retired.)
“Sorry to break it to ya, but I really doubt 4 people will be sitting in the 2 seats in front of us.” Nick said as he started to laugh.
“I know.”-Lauren
“So, what have you been up to lately? Do you like Florida...and...um...when did you start...dating...uh..AJ?”-Nick
“Let’s see, I’ve been working a lot at Virgin Records, taking a bunch of music classes at school, and going to the beach as much as possible. I love Florida it’s great down here, just like it was when I came here as a kid. AJ and I have been dating for 3 months now, I met him at a club. So, what have you been up to...and how long have you been dating...uh..what’s her name...uh...Challista!?”-Lauren
“I’ve been recording a lot with the guys and taking out my boat a lot lately. I’ve been dating..uh..what’s her name..uh...Challista for about 2 months, but I broke up with her the other day. She’s a b*tch as far as I can see, and um...she couldn’t quite handle the idea that I had a fling with you and that we planned to get together to talk.”-Nick
“See, we really should’ve kept our promises to write each other. Then we wouldn’t have these problems and wouldn’t have to be asking each other what we’re up to. Oh, and I’m not saying anything to AJ about getting together with you, ‘cuz I’m afraid he’ll pull the same crap that Challista did, so don’t say anything to him about it, ok?”-Lauren A few minutes later the game begun. The Bulls ended up winning by 1 point in overtime.
“That was a great game,” Lauren said as they were walking towards Nick’s truck in the parking lot.
“Yeah, that was fun. We’ll have to do it again sometime.”-Nick
“Yep,” Lauren said as they got into his truck and headed back towards the campus. They had decided no to go out to eat because it was getting pretty late.
“Hey, we need to get together again sometime soon, ok?” Lauren said stepping out of Nick’s car.
“Ok, give me a call. Goodnight.”-Nick
“Goodnight,”Lauren said as she walked off to her dorm.

Lauren walked into her dorm and over to her answering machine.
“Lauren, it’s Lisa. I’ll be home pretty late tonight because we decided to catch a movie. I’ll talk to ya later. Bye”
OK Lauren said to herself.
