“Yay! Last day of classes!” Lauren screamed.
“The school year is FINALLY over!”-Lisa
“I get to see Nick tonight! I can’t wait.”-Lauren
“Well, I guess we better go to class, so we can get them over with.”-Lisa
“Yeah, I guess that would help,” Lauren said as they walked out of their dorm.

“Well, that’s it. We are OFFICIALLY no longer freshman!!”-Lauren
“Yep. I guess we better go back to the dorm and finish packing our stuff up. It sucks that they’re remodeling the dorm building this summer, otherwise we wouldn’t have had to pack up anything.”-Lisa
“Yeah, I know, but we’ll live,” Lauren said as they walked to their dorm and finished packing.

“Ok, well I guess that’s everything,” Lauren said as she put her last box into her trunk and shut it.”
“Yeah,” Lisa said as she closed her trunk, “I’m gonna miss this place.”
“Me too.”-Lauren
“Ok, well you know where I’ll be.”-Lisa
“Yeah, at Brian’s. I’ll be at Nick’s, for at least this week, or until I find an apartment. My parents want me to come home, but I still haven’t decided what I’m doing yet.”-Lauren
“Yeah, so do mine. Maybe you and I could go visit for a week or something. Well, just let me know what you decide.”-Lisa
“I will.”-Lauren
“See ya.”-Lisa
“Bye,” Lauren said as they both got in their cars and drove off.

“Nick, I’m here!” Lauren said as she walked into the Carter’s house.
“Oh hey,” Nick said runnning down the stairs and pulling her into a tight hug then gently kissing her, “I missed you.”
“I missed you too.”-Lauren
“So watcha wanna do tonight. We have the house to ourselves, so I was thinking we could rent a movie and stick around here.”-Nick
“Sounds good to me.”-Lauren
“Ok, well come on. We’ll go to Blockbuster,” Nick said grabbing his car keys.
“Ok,” Lauren said as the walked out the door and went to his truck.
“So, ya wanna go apartment hunting tomorrow, I could drive around.”-Nick
“Sure, that’s fine.”-Lauren

An hour later they were back at Nick’s place laying on his couch watching “She’s All That.”
“Ahhhhh, he’s so hot!” Lauren said referring to Freddie Prinze Jr.
“Why did I let you get this movie, it’s a chic-flick. We should’ve gotten something like ‘Aliens.’”
“Cuz you’re sweet.”-Lauren
“Well, is that Freddie guy cuter than me?”-Nick
“Hmmm...I’ll have to give that some thought...well maybe a little,” Lauren said as she started to laugh.
“Take it back!” Nick said as he started to tickle her.
“Stop it, stop it!” Lauren said between the laughs.
“Not until you take it back.”-Nick
“Fine!....You’re.....CUTER!!”-Lauren
“Thank you!”-Nick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hey, ya ready to go apartment hunting?”-Nick
“Yep, I gotta get my sandals on.”-Lauren
“Well....uh...I forgot what I was gonna say, nevermind.”-Nick
“Ok then...stop thinking so hard. Well, I’m ready let’s go,” Lauren said as she grabbed Nick’s hand and pulled him out the door towards his truck. They were soon driving around and looking at many apartments and condos. Soon they came to beach-front condos, so they stopped there.
“Rent is $775 a month with.....”-saleswomen
“Hey that’s not too bad for ocean-front property, you should rent it out.”-Nick
“I don’t know.”-Lauren
“Just do it.”-Nick
“Well, it’s a little...a LOT more than I wanted to pay.”-Lauren
“Well, I can help pay. We just signed a new contract so I got a raise in a way.”-Nick
“No, I’ll just look somewhere else.”-Lauren
“I said I’d help pay.”-Nick
“...and I said NO!”-Lauren
“Hey, calm down, I just wanna help you out.”-Nick
“Well, I’ll just look somewhere else.”-Lauren
“...but I thought you liked this place?”-Nick
“Nick, I think you want it more than I do.”-Lauren
“That’s not true.”-Nick
“Then why don’t you give up on it?”-Lauren
“You should live somewhere you want to live.”-Nick
“Nick, give it up. I’m tired of looking at apartments and of you trying to get me to rent one. So I just wanna go back to your place, and tomorrow I’ll go and look, ON MY OWN!”-Lauren
“Fine!” Nick said storming out the door and to his truck.

“Nick, I think I’ll go back to Ohio for the summer. It’s just not going to work with me staying here. I’ll leave tomorrow, I’m sure I can get a flight and I’ll be back down in late August.”-Lauren
“Lauren, don’t...”-Nick
“Don’t try and stop me Nick, you won’t be able to,” Lauren said as they pulled into Nick’s driveway and she got out of the truck.
“Lauren!”-Nick
“No Nick, I’m getting my suitcase and leaving, tonight,” Lauren said as she walked into his house, grabbed her suitcase, and walked back out the door.
“Lauren, please stay, I’m sorry.”-nick
“Nick, it’s not you, I swear, I just need some time away from Florida. I’ll call you when I get there. Remember we’ll always be you and me.”-Lauren
“Always?”-Nick
“Yeah, bye,” Lauren said as she hugged him then got in her car.
“Lauren, you know, you really need to stop running away from your problems, you always do that.”-Nick
“Stop it Nick, stop it.”-Lauren
“You need to face the truth.”-Nick
“Bye Nick,” Lauren said slamming her car door shut and driving off.
“Bye,” Nick said to himself.
