Ahhh, Ewan McGregor. He's got such a beautiful name. But you have to say it with the Scottish accent. Go ahead. Try it. I won't tell.
-I'm sure most of you have seen "Star Wars: Phantom Menace", and if you haven't, you should. I've seen it twice already, and I absolutely love it. I am a Star Wars fan, but you don't have to be one to enjoy this movie. Even if you don't care about the plot, see it because of Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor. This is my tribute to the wonderful Scottish actor himself, Ewan.
"Trainspotting": Ha-ha. This movie, was to say the least gross. Ewan plays a heroin addict somewhere in Scotland. In fact, the entire cast are heroin addicts. I thought it would be similar to such great films as "Dazed and Confused" and "Empire Records". I was wrong. The movie, for the most part, is a real downer. Also, this is not one to watch if you enjoy looking at Mr. McGregor, because truthfully, I saw more of him than I'd like to, if you get what I'm saying.
"A Life Less Ordinary": Overall a good movie, but once again, very weird. Ewan was exceptional, as was Cameron Diaz, but the two angel-like characters were very annoying. In this film not only do you get to see Ewan dance, he sings too. And very well, I might add. A very funny comedy, and this time, Ewan only bares his chest.
"Night Watch": Oooh, scary movie. Ewan was good, even though he pulled an American accent. The movie was very gross, but if you like dead bodies, hookers, suspense, and Nick Nolte, this is a must see.
"Episode One: Phantom Menace": I knew it would be great, and it was. Ewan looked, acted, and fought well. He was spectacular, and really sparked my crush on him in this movie. He does not use his Scottish accent, unfortunately, but does carry on a British one, as does Liam Neeson. If you like Ewan McGregor, even if you don't like him, see this movie!!!
