Love to Death

If looks could kill, then I'd be dead

Some creatures here spinning over my head

One of them stops to whisper in my ear

Giving me strength, Yet good reason to fear

Sky showered in pink and the color baby blue

Blood droplets spread across my suede shoes

Feet and hands tied by hemp tangled rope

To smoke my way out was my only hope

In my pocket, blood on a letter I never did send

My heart would take a bullet for any of my friends

Especially the one I truly do love,

So every night I pray to the above

Yet before you couldn't even look me in the eye

Into his arms if I had to, I'd die

If death was the thing that would make him

Know about me,

Turning it red, on his white shirt I'd bleed

I'd do anything for you, I just couldn't say no

Wipe away your tears, your problems I'd blow

Reach into my ribs and tear me apart, because

Only you have the key to my heart

Put it into a box as it still beats,

You stand listening as away my pain eats

As if it was still alive, you put the lid on tight

You hear it beating as it stalks you in the night
