Virtua Striker 2: v2000.1
I don't typically play sports games. But I found VS2 to be an interesting title nonetheless. It carries a solid graphic and animation system. Giving the field and players a very believable look and feel. The detail in the stadium design and lighting effects are extraordinary. But the players have that marionnette look. Where the joints aren't connecting with a realistic skin, but I can live with it. There's also a nifty replay mode that offers a variety of camera angles.
The controls are also solid. With a simple set-up that allows for alot of manuevering and shooting styles. So the game is easy to get into and very enjoyable especially using the multiplayer modes. As a one player game, I really didn't care for it so much. I also wished it had some more options to tinker with or better yet a variety of modes. But without them the game is still playable if you're looking for a decent two plus player experience. VS2 definitely makes for a decent DC soccer game.
