Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters
Lethal Enforcers II is about as traditional as you can get with a gun game. You point and shoot the bad guys, while avoiding the "innocents". On occasion you get a weapon upgrade, but you'll lose it when you get hit. And you have a set number of lives and continues to beat the game in. Of course you can use the normal pad or the official gun. But that's about as far the game play goes. The options are terrible and allow for very little tinkering. And the game just gets stale after about 10 minutes. It definitely has a look all it's own with the "old west" theme. But the Genesis just wasn't built to handle these kind of graphics. The photographed and video taped pictures just don't translate well at all. The graphics are horribly pixelated and look like grit at best. A ton of animation was also chopped out to save room for all the different sprites. Overall a game like this shouldn't have been ported to the Genesis. And should have been left on the Sega CD where it belongs. The Genesis version of Lethal Enforcers II is a bad port of an already average gun game.
