the Punisher
I never really understood or even cared for the Punisher as a comic (or even the 80's movie), but as a stand alone game he's not that bad. The Punisher is at face value a side-scrolling brawler. Featuring 2 selectabe characters (the Punisher & Nick Fury) who use everything at hand (including weapons galore) to stop the insatiable KingPin. However nothing is overdone in this game and there's few to no surprises. A shame considering, Capcom went through the trouble of adding Cinemas and even a mundane Plot. The only thing I thought strange was how you fight over 100 or so bad guys in every stage, but each and every one of them wants to put up a fight to the bitter end. Resulting in long battles, sore thumbs, and ultimately boredom. Oh well, it's not a bad brawler (just average) but something should have been added to keep things interesting. A good shot by Capcom, but it ain't gonna be replacing Final Fight anytime soon.
