Vectorman 2
Vectorman 2 turns out to be a pretty good game on it's own. It plays exactly like the previous installment. So there's not a whole lot of new surprises, but on the plus side you'll be making your way quickly since you already know the ropes. The developers added a few more shapes to transform into. And these transformations are called upon more often than in the original. But other than that it's the same classic gameplay you've come to expect. No complaints here.
The graphic style went in a different direction this time. Most of the futuristic landscapes of the first have been replaced with organic (almost alien) backdrops such as the gloomy forest. It's not bad, but a lot of the designs have been seen before in games of this type. Other than that, the characters and enemies are all animated well and use lots of multiple sprites to create it's distinct (ball-like) look.
More gaming goodness to be had for fans of the original Vectorman.
