Mega Man 2, the first sequel to the ever popular Mega Man series. This is one that eventually became the mold for all the Mega Man games to come. It did away with the Score at the top, & this time around you fall lightly instead of that straight plummet to the ground. And the game was made a little longer with the increase to 8 bosses compared to the original 6. All very welcome additions. The graphics are better suited this time around with lots of animation in the backgrounds. Unfortunately resulting in a lot of slow down in some stages. Fortunately Capcom added in a real catchy soundtrack that I can still remember to this day. And the game retained the fast paced & challenging gameplay that made it such a great hit. But what really made this game complete was the overall originality put into the stages & enemies. It just feels so complete & whole. Out of all the Mega Man games this one was most memorable. And if you can ever find it, I recommend picking it up. You won't be disappointed. Long live the Blue Bomber!
