WaveRace 64
One word best this describes this game, Wow! Everything from the graphics to the gameplay is simply amazing. This is the first water racing game to use realistic water-effects. The water is so realistic that it can effect the way your vehicle moves & handles. You can create wakes that can knock your opponents off course & even dive deep underwater to avoid floating objects. This new level of realism opens up a whole world of possibilites within this fun little racer. It's solid racing mayhem at it's best as you go up agains three other riders for the championship. During the game you can pull of twists & spins which kick up your turbo meter. There's also loops & rings that you can pass through which up your speed. It all makes for a fast & furious racing game. Though if pull off a bad manuever you may end up in the water. The recovery time is kind of annoying, but it's there to teach you a lesson & help make the race that much more exciting. For example "Come on, I need to get back on before the other riders pass me! NO!". You get the idea. WaveRace is one of those perfected Nintendo titles that will easily stand the test of time. If you're a real N64, then this title needs to be in your collection. Enjoy!
