Nintendo GAMECUBE Console & Controller Colors

GAMECUBE Consoles & Controllers

The console itself will launch in two different colors, Jet Black and Indigo. However, the controllers will launch in four different colors. Those being Jet Black, Indigo, Spice Orange, and Transparent Indigo. The initial launch shipment was recently increased from 500,000 units to 700,000 units. In total, 1.1 million units are expected to ship in the U.S. by the end of 2001.

The GAMECUBE console is actually pretty small despite it's appearance. It measures 4.3"(H) x 5.9"(W) x 6.3"(D). And can push anywhere from 6 to 12 million polygons per second in running game conditions. The system also has a handle on the back, which can be used to carry the cube around.

The GAMECUBE controller features digital and several analog buttons. In addition to that, the controller features one directional pad and two analog sticks (movement & camera controls). There's also a built-in rumble feature, that requires no batteries.
