Milon's Secret Castle
Milon's Secret Castle is a totally weak game idea that was developed without any effort. Case in point, the repetitive & totally boring backgrounds. The whole darn place is nothing more than a bunch of colored bricks. Not to mention how many other games feature colored bricks (Mario, LoLo, etc.). I know it's a castle but come on. How about some drappery, chairs or something to break up the look a little? Second point, the monotonous action. All you do is manuver around a bunch of goofy platforms in search of a key to open the next level (only to do the same thing again). Heck, at least there was a real point to Key Hunting in Zelda like opening secret items & such. But you get absolutely nothing in this game (well you do get some stuff, but it's utterly useless). This game just doesn't evolve at all & becomes tired too quickly. With a seemingly simple premise this game could have (& should have) gone further than it did. But instead you're stuck with a weak excuse of a game. I'd expect something like this out of the Atari, but not on the Nintendo.
