Ninja Gaiden 2
Ryu Hayabusa is back and this time he's here to stop the person responsible for the previous happenings. In this sequel nearly every category has improved. The graphics feature alot more detail and there's even some weather effects (that can also affect gameplay). The bosses this time around are even more outrageous and are some of the most memorable enemies of all time (Nova Scotia is just plain cool). In fact everything has a very organic look & feel that really helps complete the classic ninja theme. Gameplay remains pretty much unchanged except for the weather/wind that can affect gameplay on certain stages. And now you have the ability to completely scale walls (you just don't stick to them anymore). Which ads alot more freedom and overall coolness to the game. One of the new special items even allows up to 2 clones of yourself that follow your actions exactly. Talk about helpful especially when confronting a boss who leaps between platforms. However the game does feel a little easier this time round (though it might because of my practice from the first game), but rest assured that there's still plenty of challenges and even an additional level to battle through (that's 7 stages total). It's more of the same great action and the story accompanying this title is even more involving than the previous game. You just can't go wrong with the Ninja Gaiden games. Another classic NES hit!
