Super Mario Bros.
One of the genuine classics, Super Mario Bros. Really, what can I say about this game? Nearly everyone has played this title in some form or another whether it be on the original NES or some download off the net. And if you haven't there are over one million copies in existence. You can buy it for less than a dollar and in some cases get it for free. Though it lacks in the eye candy and sound departments the classic gameplay is what makes this game so memorable. It's readily accessible to all ages and the challenge of the game increases steadily as you near the end. Stage design is superb, well thought-out, and there's even some hidden warps that can advance you further in the game. Heck, Super Mario Bros help set the standard for most of the platform games that followed afterwards. Without this title, the video game industry wouldn't be were it's at today.
