Blasto
Blasto is becoming a hard one to find. Mainly because it was Phil Hartman's last true role before he died. Blasto's voice track was created using a bunch of original one-liners from Mr. Hartman. And sadly this is a game that just doesn't live up to hype & won't leave any lasting impression on you. It isn't exactly horrible. More like an average 3D platform game along the lines of Gex 3D and Spyro. Just don't be expecting anything exciting or original for that fact. You basically run around a whacky 3D world (decked out with cutesy kid-oriented graphics, surprise, surprise). All while collecting numberous icons & hitting the door-opening buttons. When you come across an enemy they're usually in swarms. Which can be confusing & tends to make you run away rather than fighting. The game just could have used a whole lot more of unique thought. And some complex graphics wouldn't have hurt the look either. If you're looking for a sly 3D platformer, stick with the Gex series.
