Bravo AirRace
If there is one other genre besides 3D fighting which lacks originality, it's got to be those 3D racing games. And it looks like THQ just had to get their own version of it in. This game literally flies on a whole new concept. You race using small planes. However the heavy control brings this title crashing down. In most cases it feels as if you are soaring way to fast. Which wouldn't have been bad, if you could have actually steered your darn plane. By the time you see an upcoming tree & try to swing & avoid, you have already hit the tree. Talk about frustrating. And this happens a ridiculous amount of times on every single course. The only way you can make it is by precisely memorizing every single twist & turn. And even then you'll still make spectacular crashes because the plane just wouldn't turn enough to get out of the way. Well at least it's got a cute "loading" screen. Again this a title with loads of potential, but never goes anywhere. You're better off sticking to the Ace Combat series.
