I know DBZ fans aren't gonna be happy when they hear this. But you gotta face it, this game sucks. Utterly in every category from graphics to gameplay UB22 fails. In fact lets start with the visuals. You're treated to a way cool FMV sequence cut straight from the original series. Very nice indeed. However when you get into the game it's another story. There are short animated pre & post bout cut scenes. Unfortunately it looks like some talentless hack drew them. And each are animated about as horribly as they look. And the same goes for the actual fighting graphics. Which are too small & lifeless to have any personality their own. Then you get into playing this sad beast. And believe me it ain't easy. The characters move dreadfully slow. And their attacks are limited to a mere punch, kick, & super move. Talk about way too simpilistic & lacking that genuine depth. Not to mention that because it's animated so poorly your moves hardly ever connect. They did manage to throw in a nifty little mode where you can fight & build up your character. Similar to Goku's constant training as in the anime. But using this poor fighing engine you'd really rather not go through the hassle. Overall this game is completely lacking. The only thing it has going for it is the DragonBall Z license. Sadly, anime and game fans must look elsewhere to reach nirvana.
