Tomb Raider
One word sums up this game. Amazing. It was one of the first 3D action/adventure games ever created. And it also started Lara Croft's career. The first ever popular video game vixen. Getting away from that. The theme took off of Indiana Jones. Where the point was to explore & uncover hidden secrets & items. You just wait & see when you make it to the buried Sphinx. While the gameplay remained somewhat slow & tedious it was necessary for the precise jumping & moves this game called for. And believe me when I say you're going to be doing a lot of moving around. Not that that was enough, Eidos even developed an intricate story for Lara that involved lot's of back-stabbing & mythical legends. As a whole this game is near perfection. The only complaints that I sought was the limited amount of "shooting" parts, the digitized textures, & weak ending. It's a lot of trouble to go through the game when you end up with this 10 second end. Even with those problems this game remains the best & most memorable of the series. Get this game & see what made Tomb Raider what it is today.
