Hot Shots Golf

About time they released a cute, arcade style Golf game. The game features full 3D backgrounds with cudly 2D super-deformed golfers. The courses don't have a lot of different looks, but each one is uniquely designed. Allowing for all sort of golf shots & traps. And the control is so easy to get into. All you do is press a button as a colored bar goes fills in & out. Depending upon where the bar stops is how powerful or at what angle you hit the ball. It's doesn't sound like much in writing, but believe me - it works really well & produces a lot of different results! They even go as far as to introduce 'Par' & 'Birdie' to the kids. So they acutally learn about golf instead of just playing a funky arcade rev. The game is very appealing with it's animated cast & easy to learn play mechanics. And what game is complete without two player mode? Of course Hot Shots has one where you can pair up or against your friends. The best part is that you can push a button on the pad, & you're on-screen character will scream things out while your friends are trying to make a shot. Like "Booooo!" or "Hurry up!". Ahh, a golf game with humor. There's loads of stuff to do, & the game even has a tutortorial. Good for beginners in the sport. It's just one of those fun family game that a blast to play.
