Hotwheels: Turbo Racing

I always thought a Hotwheels game would be kinda cool. But over 10 years I never saw a thing. And out of nowhere comes Hotwheels: Turbo Racing. But what you might find is just too little, too late. Especially for us older guys. Though these small diecast collectibles are popular around the world and for many ages, this game is strictly for 12 year-olds & younger. Believe me, anyone with half the skill can conquer this game in a day at best. Sure there's a load of cars & tracks to open, but everything is very passable & easy to find. The only challenge came from the "Twin Mills-Only" race at the end. All you really got worry about is keeping your turbo bar up. To do this, you must constantly pull off flips & twists at every jump you take. But since this all you can do the whole thing gets kinda lame after awhile. EA should have included alot more stunts than this. The tracks have several splits which means you have to race through a few times to see all the sites, but they're hardly a challenge. And since this game was designed with the younger set of kids in mind, they consentrated on putting in all the new Hotwheels. Hardly any of the classics make an appearance besides the Red Baron & Twin Mill. Which is a shame if you're an older guy who remembers the originals. It't not a bad game, just not a spectacular one. Hotwheels: Turbo Racing is an Average Racer best left for the Younger Hotwheels Crowd.
