Marvel Super Heroes
Well, there's not much you can say about Capcom's fighting games anymore. This one is a straight feature of the Marvel Universe. With characters such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, & Iron-Man. And the gameplay feels & nearly plays just like Street Fighter. It's just that the jumps & super attacks have been exaggerated & look amazing. Just like in the comics. Street Fighter almost seems tamed compared to this. But the whacked out fighting system lends itself to flaws. Often time making the game way to easy to beat over the precise fighting mechanics of SF. The whole thing kinda feels dumb-downed in a way. And it's really only fun for the first half-hour. After that you kinda loose interest & can't find much else in the game to keep you going. There's also eye-sore flaws in the conversion when compared to the arcade. The most notable being the great cuts in animation & the slow down that constantly plaques the title. It definitely hurts the feel, look, & play of the game. But if you can by these few problems it's still a fun arcade romp for the short time it's last. And just to mention it, the game features some sort of emeralds that enhance different aspects of the characters for limited amounts of time. But it's really only a gimmick & doesn't effect the game that much in itself. A decent game, just not spectacular like it's fighting bretherin.
