Parappa the Rapper

Very few games end up creating a new genre all it's own (in fact only Twisted Metal & Resident Evil have been able to do so in the age of the Playstation). And if you wanna talk about a cool, hip, refreshing game then Parappa's the dude for you. The main theme about this game is of course rapping. And don't worry parents, it's only old-school rap with funky lyrics. Non of that gangster or other risque stuff. And the game is easy to learn if not easy to beat. All you do is press the right button when you need to. When you hit a button Parappa will rap or say a lyric to the beat of the song. The point is to keep in sync with the music & rap good. In most of the stages you're singing with another character who raps what you need to rap next. The game is definitely a blast to play. Along with each stage accompanies a story that involves Parappa & his friends. It's way too cute to explain here. The characters are so whacked out. Featuring cute animals, flowers, critters, & other things that live & breath with crazy personalities all their own. In fact, if this game has anything it's personality. It's a great game especially with other people watching. "Do you challenge my rap?" I just wish the game could have been longer or have more to do after you beat it. Anyways it's still a great game & should be checked out by any self-respecting game fan. Enjoy!
