Street Fighter Alpha 2
Alpaha 2 turns out to be one of the best arcade ports Capcom has ever done. Despite the weaker animation, everything else stands up nicely for itself. The gameplay is balanced & fun. Still requiring practice & mastery to become the best SF Alpha player. But the fact that it plays like every other SF game will probably kill the thrill for some people out there. There just hasn't been any new additions or changes to the overall play to make an exciting & new experience. Still if you can get by that fact you'll find the same fun & enduring game that has always been Street Fighter. I should also mention that you can now play as a ton of other characters so there's a least a few more guys for you to master. It also retains the stylish anime graphics that are so pleasing to watch. If there was one other thing I didn't like about the game it would be the endings. They end up being short little stills as you read text. And that wouldn't have been bad if the endings would have actually wrapped the game up & stop leaving plot holes open. Street Fighter Alpha 2 still remains one of the best ports you can find & until Alpha 3, there won't be anything that can top this refined & nearly perfected Street Fighter.
