Street Fighter Zero 3 - import

Capcom finally goes the 'Namco route' & creates a game that surpasses it's arcade predessesor. The animation in this one is unbelievable. It tops Alpha 2 in so many ways from smoother animation to wilder colors. The graphics are designed with the PSX in mind. Meaning there's alot of polygon & PSX-only special effects that bring the whole style of the game together. If anything, you could call this game an art piece. And the extreme anime style will please japanimation fans. The gameplay remains roughly the same as previous efforts but with enhancing tweaks & such. So you can expect the balanced & fun gameplay that the series always had. What really defines this title is it's World Mode. On par with Soul Calibur's Story Mode, you scower the world in search of challenges. Some events include taking on multiple characters or doing a certain stunt in a limited amount of time. Each one requires a certain amount of skill & mastery of the SF games. After each round you score points which get applied to overall stats. (much like in an RPG) So you can pump up your offense or defense while you level up your X, V, & Z Supers. On top of that you can gain special abilities such as Super Block or Faster Charge Bar. In the process you can create a truly unique fighter & battle with them during the regular game. Too Cool. The Normal Game features a semi-story mode with talking bits between characters (you'd better learn Japanese if you wanna understand it). This time we get moving & somewhat animated endings that are large & much more detailed when compared to those still shot endings in past Alphas. About damn time! As a whole, this is the best Street Fighter Alpha (Zero in Japan) title ever made. So if you're a big SF buff then you better go out & get this game now! Believe me you won't be sorry. Hopefully Capcom will try to make all their other ports as great as Street Fighter Zero 3.
