Spider-Man
Looks like Activision has hit upon the perfect game engine for Spider-Man. You can do nearly everything the comic book version of Spider-Man does. You can scale walls and crawl on ceilings. And your webbing is put to good use whether it be for maneuvering or battling. Spider-Man also has good set of offensive attacks including various punch, kick, and grapple combos. Some of stages put your moves to good use such as the Police Escape. Where Spider-Man dodges gun fire and missiles while scaling walls and jumping through girders. However other stages are straight forward and require little in terms of skill. Hopefully the levels found in the sequel will call upon Spider-Man's special abilities more frequently. On top of this, there's a load of hidden goodies to uncover including new costumes, comic book covers, storyboard art, and more. Fans will definitely enjoy this game, and even casual gamers might find this title entertaining. Keep up the good work Activision.
