Spyro the Dragon

I'm sure a lot of you are probably familar with this title. Heck, little Spyro is already becoming a psuedo-mascott (watch your back Crash). Now let's get to the game. It's set up just like Mario 64. Where you can venture through several vass worlds in which you must collect in-numberable amounts of diamonds. And in between you need to rescue all the elder dragons to restore the land back to normal. I can't say this sounds like much fun. Wish there was a better reason for all the senseless searching. But at least they gave Spryo some solid controls & even a personality through his voice (by the guy who does the Taco Bell Chihuahua voice). So it's not that bad of a play. A pretty decent time for the hard-core player, but also easily enjoyable for the younger crowd (which is it's intended target). And it's all decked out with the trademark PSX graphic enhancements. Meaning everything looks smooth & solid with plenty of colored lights & shading all abound. It all looks very cartoony & the worlds are bright & colorful. It's an excellent game, easily on par with Mario 64. Now if they could only add a better story, things could really begin to shape up. You need to try this game at least once.
