Tekken

This is the only other fighting game to garner as much success as the Street Fighter series. But it isn't a blatant rip-off either, Tekken is a totally 3D & original game. The animation is totally mind-blowing. Each move was motion-captured off of real martial artists. So you can expect some amazing grapples & holds. Very realistic. Each character is unique in their own right. For those favoring the quick & nasty strikes of Bruce Lee might wanna check out Law. Those wanting something a little more bigger & definitely stronger can get a hold of the terminator-wannabe, Jack. While there's also the silent, but lovely assassin Nina. There's also King who's a fancy wrestler sporting a gruesome tiger mask & even a cyborg, alien ninja named Yoshimitsu. The cast is just so crazy you can't help but pick a favorite. (mine's a tie between Law & Yoshimitsu) Not mentioning all the secret characters to be unlocked as you play through the game. Though most are just remodels of other characters, it's still a neat addition. And it has some incredible animated CG endings (even though they're awfully short). You still can't go wrong with this classic title. Besides it's always fun checking out the game that started the whole trend.
