After playing the amazing game that was Tomb Raider, I'm sure all of you are ready to jump on the sequel. But however as the old attage goes. The sequel is never as good the first one. Which holds true to this title. The background for the game has been taken out into the open. Featuring lot's of exotic locations such as the China Wall when compared to the old enclosed caves of old. Kind of taking the Tomb out of Tomb Raider. The gameplay plays pretty much the same. Except for the addition of Flares (good for lighting dark pathways) & the ability to ride several different vehicles. Cool Features non-the-less but add hardly nothing to the already set gameplay. Action fans will also be glad to know that there's a lot more enemies to shoot down as well. It's just that this game doesn't have the magic of the first Tomb Raider. There are hardly any exciting surprises or neat tricks that wow you over. And the uninspired story doesn't help things either. It feels more like an expansion on Tomb Raider. Just with slightly better graphics & loads more stages to explore. Not to mention Lara's Mansion which is finally decorated. And of course new outfits for Lara that the fanboys will love. My only major gripe is the sorry ending. It's shorter & more pointless than the first game's ending. It's not a bad Tomb Raider, just more of the same.
