Um Jammer Lammy
Ah, the sequel to Parappa the Rapper (one of this decades best games in my opinion). But alas where's Parappa and what happened to the rap? Um Jammer Lammy takes the series into a slightly different direction. This game follows a new character named Lammy who's in a rock band appropriately titled "Milk Can". Parappa is still there but he's hidden and you'll have to find him. And the soundtrack is more akin to good old fashioned rock 'n' roll. Which I do prefer but the tunes just aren't as catchy as they were in Parappa. Now don't get me wrong the music isn't horrible or anything like that, it's just that the rap songs were alot more memorable and who can forget the opening song with the Onion-Sensei. The game still plays the same, hit the right button when you're told to, but now there's a little more creative freedom thanks to the wammy bar and the additional soundeffects/items you'll find along the way. The cinemas and story are still as whacky as ever and it'll be sure to hold your attention till the very end. There's also a much needed 2-Player mode and a few things that'll need to be opened up by playing. A great addition to the series, but it still can't touch the original.
