WWF Attitude
There's nothing wrong with repackaging the same game over and over (goodness, Capcom has done it innumberable times). But at least Capcom adds some extras and better yet refines the engine (and Capcom games are still enjoyable mind you). But for some reason I'm really getting tired of this game engine. Especially after playing it in so many other Acclaim wrestling games. And the fact that it hasn't changed over time or gotten any better bugs me. More than anything you'll feel jipped. All you're getting with this game is an updated roster and some newer WWF plots. And quite frankly that isn't enough to earn my money. Besides you can pick a number of better wrestling games for a cheaper price anyways. An okay game, but it's nothing more than a cash run.
Category | Rating | How & Why? |
Graphics | 8 | Still Looks Good, but no Improvement Over 1st Game / Animation looks a litle Stiff |
Music | 7 | Again No Wrestling Soundtrack, but it does feature all the Themes of each Wrestler |
Gameplay | 7 | Same Old, Same Old - Good Layout and Enjoyable Multiplayer Matches |
Innovation | 7 | It was Great Game when it First came out, but this is just a petty Re-Package by Acclaim with an updated roster... |
Replay | 6 | More of the Same (even though they've practically killed the game engine in other wrestiling titles) / It just not as Fresh or Enjoyable as the original... |
