________Punch-Out!___________________

Now this is an original boxing game. And guess what? It's actually Good. Nintendo approached this game from an arcade point of view. Meaning there's a lot of whacky characters that use an arsonal of moves you wouldn't normally expect out of boxing. And it provides a precise controller set-up that garnishes the player with the best boxing experience over all the other flakey boxer games available. You're basically taken through three rounds that each last 3 minutes. And in that time you got to put your best moves up against an unrelenting heavy weight champ. With each match the boxers get harder & harder. A very smooth learning curve for those trying to learn the game. And soon you find that the next boxer seems impossible to beat. But you know there's a way to get him. You got to think & plan your strageties against these guys. Man, talk about a game that gets you this involved. The entire experience is really gratifying. Especially when you figure an opponent's weakness out & put him down after the beatings he served you. The best available & I'm sorry to say there's nothing that even comes close to this quality. If you can find it, pick Punch-Out up for your NES. You won't be disappointed.
