Night Warriors 2: Darkstalkers Revenge
Capcom continues the Darkstalkers series on the Saturn with Night Warriors. This sequel boasts several new characters (Hsien-Ko is my personal fav), selectable bosses, & better animation over the previous Playstation incarnation. Each character has a list of wild & whacky moves. Stuff that's just mind-boggling. And the cast features all your favorite Halloween characters & then some. The gameplay takes directly off Street Fighter 2. Meaning that the fireball motions & other moves found in SF2 are found in this game. So it's easy to get into & you won't have to waste time figuring out moves. Though this aspect makes you feel like you're playing a straigth SF rip-off despite the new cast & theme. It's still a great game to play & who doesn't enjoy the classic SF2 style of gameplay anyways? I should also mention that's it's a near arcade-perfect port featuring everything & even more than the arcade had. So fans of the stand-ups will definitely have their time with the home version.
