Virtua Cop 2
Virtua Cop 2 offers the same enthralling experience as the first game, but with more replay value! Each of the level designs & bad guy placement are intricately laid out. So the game is really a testament to reaction testing. Bad guys jump out from all over the place. And unlike the first game, you can put holes in the walls. (a pointless, but neat addition) As well as destroy a whole bunch of things in the background. Ranging from the musical instruments at a concert to food in a cookery. The levels are nearly twice as long since each one is split into different branches. Letting you choose where you stray. And each branch offers something new & cool that the other one didn't have. Not to mention the inclusion of moving vehicles such as the Subway Train, motorcycles, police cars, automobiles, & helicopters. Definitely gives the game a quicker pace & even an old 70's car chase movie feel. The thing that took the worse hit was the decline in the difficulty of bosses. Most of them just sit there & let themselves get shot without doing much in return. Too bad considering how fun the rest of the game is. And there's a whole hidden options screen to unlock. Which lets you configure all the options such as health, lives, difficutly, reloading, weaponary, & what not. Sega really made an effort to give the game a more lasting appeal. Virtua Cop 2 is at the top of the shooter game pile
