Mega Man X
The X series marks the beginning in the 16-bit era of Mega Man. With this title a new world & cast of characters were created for Mega Man. You can finally forget about Dr. Wily. But in the future there are new threats, namely a super-robot that goes by Sigma. Who has created a swarm of manacing cybernetic droids & the world is threatened once more. As you'll come to find in playing, the game retains it's basic formula while expanding on it & adding some needed depth. One of X's new moves is his the Wall Climb. This feature opens up many more areas of exploration throughout the levels. During your journey you'll come across several upgrades left by the now deceased Dr. Light. These enhancements give X dashing abilties, stronger armor, & a special mega buster among other things. And the Energy Tanks are now limited to four, but can be refilled many times over. That's only if you can find them first. Everything is animated nicely & gives the environment life & personality. And there are lots of different areas from the desert to a winter ice land. It's a fantastic side-scroller with perfect level designs that test all your developed skills. And with the new futuristic look Mega Man feels mature unlike the original series. And in my opinion this is the best of the Mega Man X series you're going to find.
