Uniracers

I thought this was one of the more interesting racing titles ever released for the old SNES. In Uniracers you take the control of a uni-cycle, no human of course. Hmm, now that is strange. And you race side scrolling style through some whacky, twisting, & turning tracks. Going back & forth, up & down, and just plain all over the place. Heck the tracks are even decked out with checkered patterns that mezmorize you when you start going really fast. Talk about trippy. Your pathway is even littered with fall through holes & slick goo. Watch out for that stuff or you can kiss that best time good-bye. Of course there are other racers, however everybody is the same & no one's faster or slower. And here's the catch. In order to speed up & out race your oppenents you must perform cool looking tricks with your uni-cycle. This includes flips, twists, head-stands, & more. And all the moves are simple & easy to pull off. What you have to worry about is your timing & where you pull your stunts off. Making this game easy to understand, yet hard to master. And there are over twenty different tracks that help keep things fresh. With two players the game is even twice as fun. Uniracers is just one of those great titles that nobody ever really seems to notice. But deserves it's attention in the spot light. Anyhows it's a great buy & a great play. Review
