Batman Forever
Right off the bat, you know this game has some major problems. Asides from the fact that it's a licensed title, are the design specs of the cartridge. The entire thing is saved onto RAM & not the regular ROM found in other games. For non-tech heads this means that there's a battery inside that's really keeping the game alive. After so many years that battery will die & the game will be forever lost (which isn't too bad actually). So forget about even playing it later on in life. This game is already going extinct. The other problem is that RAM works like a CD. Which means there's lots of 'Loading' time. And on a cartridge of all things! Then when you get to the game you realize how bad things really are. The graphics are made up of realistic images of the characters from the movie. However they are very small & are therefore extremely pixelated. Not like blackness was already covering all the backgrounds up as well. Secondly the control. It's your run-of-the-mill action fair. With lots of fighting & platform jumping. It's just that in order to use your secondary weapons you must preform goofy button combinations. Yeah, that'll work in the heat of battle. After the ridiculous gameplay & odd graphics you really won't want to come back to this title. Again it had some potential, but just didn't go anywhere but in the garbage. If you're looking for a pretty average game with some less-than-desirable controls, Batman Forever is your ticket.
