Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Well, since the show was so popular with children at the time, Bandai decided to release a game. You know cash in on the craze while it's hot. But what could you expect from a Power Rangers game? Not much since it's a straight rip on like every side scrolling game ever made. And that wouldn't have been bad if it was at least fun. Sadly I just can't garner up much excitement for the Rangers & I doubt the rest of you could either unless you're 8 years old. You go through endless stage after endless stage fighting the same 5 types of "puddies" over & over. That pretty much sums up the meat & bones of this title. Everything from graphics to gameplay is done minimal & nothing quite goes over the top. There just isn't much else you can say about this title. Young Ranger fans will probably enjoy it whereas their older siblings would probably eat out of the toliet over playing this game. Which would be kinda neat to see. But you're better off not even giving this title another thought. So go, get out of here.

Category Rating How & Why?

Music 3 lots of variations on the Power Ranger's Theme
Gameplay 4 Run, Punch, Jump - Run, Punch, Jump - well, you get the idea
Innovation 1 Haven't I seen this game before on the NES?
Replay 1 Power Rangers logo will most likely turn alot of Players off in the first place / too repetitive!
