Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Adventure
I'm a big fan of Rocko's Modern Life (though it's in Repeat-Land right now). So I was excited about this title when I got word of it's existence. I figured it would be another 2D platformer. And to my surprise it turned out to be way different than what I thought. The game actually plays more like a puzzle or Lemmings game. Your objective as Rocko is to guide Spunky through each level trying to keep him alive & out of danger. So you end up having to figure out to get Spunky going in the direction you want him to go. You'll come across areas where you might have launch him on a spring board upto another level, or where you have to stop the traffic as he crosses a busy intersection. So there's always something keeping you on your feet. And it's definitely a challenge. So I don't recommend younger kids playing this game because it will probably cause them frustration & make them give up on it. Each of the stages come straight out of the show. With levels based on the Beach, the Garbage Dump, the Laundry Place, & even Rocko's home. Fans are going to eat this title up. Again this game is a little difficult & that's the only thing that bugged me about it. Otherwise it's a great if you're up to the challenge. Enjoy!
