Suzuka 8 Hours
Ick, talk about a lousy motorcycle game. Let's start by ripping on the controls. They are very un-innovative. You hold down on the 'gas' button. And turn every once in awhile. All you really have to worry about is not touching any of the track edges. Because if you do you go flying off your bike. Which easily takes your biker about 20 seconds to get back on. This really hurts your best time & placement. And if you thought that was bad you come accross some turns where you have to slow down to a halt in order to make it. Just take my adrenaline rush away from me why don't you! Now let's get to the graphics. The foreground is nothing more than a 7-mode effect. Which wouldn't have been bad if they had done it correctly. The tracks look very blocky & are extremely flat. In fact they don't even look that real. Almost like Mario Kart, but hey that was cartoony game. And forget about any 3D-ish objects or anything standing up. Only lifeless, flat grounds for this game. To top things off, it has the worst sounding motor engines I've ever heard. The sounds easily screech higher than any of the other sound effects. And after awhile it gets unforgivingly annoying. You're better off just "muting" the old television. This game turned out to be a horrible mess of motorcycle racing game. Stay away at all costs!
