TinStar

TinStar is one of those games that didn't make a media splash when it was released. But after time (and getting the title at a bargain bin price) you'll find a pretty decent game that'll grow on you. Sure it doesn't add anything new or reinvent the shooter genre. But it's the game's immersing environment and laughable mood that makes it such an enjoyable title. Between the whacky bosses & the bad guys disquised as cactuses you just can't help but smile. As in terms of gameplay it's everything you could want out of shooter. It's responsive and offers a wide range of targets to blast. Whether it be tiny guys running around in the background or nutty characters dancing in front of your face. But ultimately the game is a little on the easy side & doesn't make up for it much in terms of replay value. So what you get is a quick and easy game that's also very enjoyable. It's a shame really considering how much charm the title has. It might grab some people's attention, but the diehard shooter fans will want to look for a harder challenge somewhere else.
