_______Zoda's Revenge: Star Tropics II___

This game was released towards the end of the NES era. It's just too bad it couldn't stand up to the 16-bit mega, monstors of the time. Don't get me wrong. The game isn't terrible, but it's not that exciting either. It's set up much like the Legend of Zelda. You watch the game from an overhead view. You travel wide areas in search of helpful items. And you must ultimately find the several pieces of Tetrad (isn't that something from Tetris?). The graphics even look like Zelda. The backgrounds should have appeared much better considering the game was released in 1994. The game's story won't keep your attention either. It talks about pizza & other things that would only interest a 6-year old. Along with being real short & too easy. Especially with that pointless save system. There's no reason for it considering you could probably beat it in one day. And I can't say it was very fun. It felt more like a chore than anything. I could see the young-uns enjoying this game. But in this day & age I doubt it'll satisfy them due those colorful, pretty graphics of the newer systems. And for the adult, I would simply stay away from this game unless I have a kid. And only if the Nintendo is all he has to play.
