Murals
- Mrs. Jean Wilson, a Jewett artist, painted the murals
in Jewett with the help of her son. Each mural took
several months to paint and were finished about six
years ago.
Mrs. Wilson chose four people from Harrison
county. (Left to Right)
- Clark Gable, birthplace Cadiz
- General George Custer, birthplace New Rumley
- Lewis Reese, founder of Scio Pottery
- R. A. Kammeyer, Superintendent of Jewett School
- Turn of the century shoppers
- Jewett Methodist Church
- Jewett Car Company Limited
They manufactured street cars between 1894-1903,
which were shipped out by railroad.
- S. M. Cunningham, longtime cashier of Jewett bank.
Mrs. Wilson's father.
- Victorian mansion across from the schoolhouse that
is no longer standing
