Top O' The Mornin' to Ya!!!
...and the rest of the day to you too :o)

An Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Fahey

The Irish names Fahey, Fahy and Faghy are derived
from the native Gaelic O'Fathaigh Sept who were
based in the West of the country in County Galway.
Fahysvillage still exists there today. The name Green
is sometimes used instead of Fahy as the Irish word
'faitche' which means 'lawn' or 'green' is similar to
that word from which the Sept name is derived.

The Irish Claddagh

Misty Fables surround one of Ireland's unique
treasures, 'The Claddagh Ring' a symbol of Love,
Friendship and Loyalty.
Some 400 years ago in a fishing village overlooking
Galway Bay, close to the city of the tribes,
lived Richard Joyce a master goldsmith. It was he
who crafted this now famous design that has become
part of our heritage.
The ring worn on the right hand, heart turned outwards
tells your heart is yet unoccupied, worn
with the heart turned inward reveals love
is being considered. Worn on the left hand
the heart turned inward shows all, your
heart is truly spoken for.

"May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you wherever you go."
--Old Irish blessing
