The Band

Okay this is how it all began way back in 98'. I(vile) started jamming with jason and my friend andy. At the same time jason was also playing some music with jonny and phil. So one day at taco bell we just all happened to be there at the same time and jonny t-bird who i didn't even know really at the time asked me if i wanted to sing in a punk band. I don't really know were the myth that i could sing came from but i didn't care cause i really wanted to play in a punk rawk band. So me and andy and t-bird and jason started playing together. i think we wrote like 2 or 3 songs that were on the verge of sounding really poppy which is a bad thing to me then phil decided to come jam with us. he was really rad at guitar so we added him on as our 3rd guitarist. we continued to bang away at our instruments for a while and write songs and play some small shows at our churches and other stuff. then andy quite cause he wasn't too into the whole punk rawk thing. and we were a 4 piece again. we had to take alot of time off in the summer cause i got mono, had the family vacation thing, and our drummer got married. we played alot of shows when august came around. actually we were playing every weekend even twice a weekend up until it slowed back down in november. our last show to date was the big party in october. we had a few spiritual conflicts that we needed to have the lord help us sort out. so instead of ending the band we decided it was time to take a break and let the lords will happen, cause i knew it was not our time to end. we started working on our second record, which had been planned much before the break, in january. it took until march to get everyone together and complete the project. in april we got it mixed and it sounds great! we also had a parting of ways with our original bass player, johnny t-bird. this was a really tough and sad time for all of us. he was and always will be greatly missed. our new bass player is Davey O and he has been one of my closest friends since we were like 4 ft. tall. spiritually i think we have come out of our tough time. we are starting to practice and teach davey the songs. the record is almost complete as well. it will be finished by the time i graduate in 3 weeks. we hope to be playing live again in july when wreckless and i get back from good ol' california. that is pretty much everything about our past, that i remember, which isn't much. so we look forward to seeing everyone in july. please keep us in your prayers. God Bless, vile out
