"Listen Up! Jonathan Knight Has Got Something to Say!"

When Jonathan Rashleigh Knight was born on November 29, 1968, in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Knights were overjoyed at the sight of the sweet baby before them. Jonathan was a curious, but shy, fella. As time went on, Jonathan proved to be very industrious and determined. He always wanted to be doing something - playing a game, reading, working, gardening, helping in the kitchen or lending Mom Marlene a hand. Did you know that Jon got his first job when he was only 10 years old? He used to walk around his neighborhood in Dorchester selling products door-to-door from a catalogue. By the age of 12, he was working in a local Burger King flipping burgers and cooking French fries! Jon also managed to squeeze in time for sports and choir practice. He was always interested in performing and secretly dreamed about being a star someday. Little did he know when he was singing into his hairbrush/mic that he would be doing it for real in the near future in front of thousands of screaming fans! All of you Jonathan fans out there have your own special reasons for loving this Kid the most. Here are some of the niftiest Jon quotes to make you love him even more!

FIRST CRUSH

"I had my first crush in the third grade. She used to live two houses down from where the school playground ended. I'd always kick the ball down the street so I could run down to her house and see if she was on the porch or something."

HE'S NO MATERIAL GUY

"I don't need anything materialistic - maybe a new nose. God doesn't make perfect humans and if he did, it'd be a boring world."

SAVE OUR EARTH

"Our environment is suffering and that frightens me."

HIS MESSAGE

"Whatever it is that people are trying to talk you into, the final decision is up to you. You've got to take control of your own life."

ON STAGE

"I do see the girls in the audience and they mean so much to me, but I feel weird. If I smile at someone and she doesn't smile back, I feel stupid."

THE RING, PLEASE

"One day, I see myself married - but not for at least a few years."
